Vrainiac is currently producing two games that will integrate blockchain assets: Born to the Sky and Helihunter. Born to the Sky is a VR wingsuit racing game where players will be able to experience human flight and maneuver through the futuristic skylines of iconic cities like New York, Hong Kong, and Paris. This immersive experience will feature native advertisements such as billboards and posters, allowing the game to remain 100% free to play, without any intrusive pop-ups or splash pages. Currently in the later stages of production, Born to the Sky is scheduled for release in early 2019. Born to the Sky users will have the option to purchase blockchain-based costumes, skins, and special items, but these assets will not affect the competitiveness of play. Players will also be able to purchase blockchain-based season passes which they can trade and sell at their own discretion.

Vrainiac’s second game, Helihunter, is casual first-person, augmented reality helicopter shooter in which players are tasked to protect the game’s citizens by hunting zombies that are attacking the city. The default version of Helihunter will be free, with premium purchase versions available that will enable players to create their own maps and challenges for each other. An alpha version providing a first look at Helihunter’s gameplay is currently available on Vrainiac’s website. Future versions will feature native advertisements and blockchain-based weapons and upgrades.

Vrainiac will utilize Enjin’s blockchain development tools to connect to a blockchain-based gaming multiverse, so players that own certain multiverse items will be able to utilize them in Born to the Sky, Helihunter, and other multiverse games. There are currently seven other games connected to the Enjin Coin-powered multiverse through shared blockchain assets, and Enjin is giving away special multiverse items to anyone who registers at https://enj.li/giveaway. Unity Technologies has also announced plans to list Enjin’s blockchain development tools on the front page of their Asset Store. The Unity game engine is the world’s largest game development platform. Release of Enjin’s suite of tools to the Asset Store will enable 4.5 million Unity developers to mint ERC-1155 crypto items and manage advanced gameplay mechanics through transactions on the Ethereum blockchain.
