MegaCryptoPolis Generated $1 Million to Build Decentralized City on Ethereum Blockchain MegaCryptoPolis is a MMO city builder strategy game utilizing distributed ledger technology to deliver a pure ownership of in-game assets for players. Game has generated more than $1 Million equivalent of fiat currency in Ether transactions within the first several months of operation.

Commencing on 21st May 2018 players started to acquire blocks of land on the decentralized city map. Next state starts on 10 October 2018 12 UTC allowing to construct buildings of different types (such as: residential, production and commercial structures). Buildings will then generate influence points depending on their neighbourhood ― for example, residential buildings near a commercial zone will produce much more points than a building that is close to a manufacturing facility. It’s just like in real life, the value of a property or land block more often than not depends on location.

MegaCryptoPolis introduced revolutionary mix of user-friendly HTML5 client and Ethereum digital wallets allowed for running a graphically-rich game inside any browser or mobile device with secure management of all game assets stored on the blockchain.

Game is based on a decentralized model with all the logic operated by dApp running on Ethereum smart contracts and all assets securely stored in players’ wallets. Every action in the game is actually a signed transaction on Ethereum blockchain. All the game assets (like building and plots of lands) are stored in form of cryptographically unique ERC-721 tokens.

As no centralized database is controlled by a single party, there is no way developers can influence the game process after the smart contracts are deployed. Game logic, math and formulas will remain invariable whatsoever.

The first version of the game will be released in form of 2D client, with the full-functional 3D client to be announced within next quarter featuring impressive 3D visualization. Players will then be able to literally take a walk around decentralized city districts on any desktop or mobile device without need of any special software or plug-ins.
