Experimental raises half a million dollars to expand team and establish CryptoWars

Experimental is a game development studio producing blockchain-based games that are not only incredibly fun to play but also allow users to monetize their gaming experiences. The studio developed CryptoWars recently announced they completed it's seed round with Sumit Gupta, raising over $500k the first fully decentralized strategy game played by thousands of users around the globe.

Investors and advisors:

Sumit Gupta: Sumit is a serial entrepreneur and investor, he sold his gaming company to GSN for $170M and invested in companies like Discord, G2 eSports, Lambda School, and Blockchain Capital.
Pato Jutard: Pato founded and sold Three Melons (game development company) to Playdom, that was later acquired by The Disney Company. He’s also the founder at Mural.co (online collaboration whiteboard for the Enterprise), and investor in several startups.

Investors:

Julien Turri: Julien is a Brazilian serial entrepreneur and prolific investor. He founded an online auction site, sold to iBazar and then to eBay; a movie content publisher, AdoroCinema, acquired by Allocine in 2011; and Hi-mídia and Afilio, leading ad network and performance network in Brazil (minority share sold to RBS Group).
Animoca: Animoca Brands (ASX: AB1) leverages gamification, blockchain, and artificial intelligence technologies to develop and publish a broad portfolio of mobile products including games such as The Sandbox, Crazy Kings, and Crazy Defense Heroes as well as products based on popular intellectual properties such as Garfield, Snoopy, Thomas & Friends™, Ever After High and Doraemon. Animoca Brands is the exclusive China distributor of CryptoKitties. The Company is based in Hong Kong, Canada, Finland, and Argentina.
