Kriptomat, a regulated fiat-to-cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it is partnering with eight game developers that will support Kiptomat’s blockchain assets in the 24 games they are building. Through this new partnership, users will be able to earn ERC-1155 Ethereum-based tokens by using the Kriptomat trading platform, some of which they will be able to use as gaming items in the 24 partnered games. Kriptomat has dubbed this network of interconnected games and assets the “Kriptomat Multiverse.”

Over the past six months, many of the adopters of Enjin’s blockchain game development platform have distributed special “founders tokens” to the founding members of their communities. Kriptomat will also reward all holders of these multiverse founders tokens with special bounties within their exchange. This further nurtures an interconnected gamification experience where users can earn items through gaming communities and then use them on Kriptomat.io, and vice versa.
This leading-edge retail-gaming partnership is made possible by the flexibility and interoperability of blockchain assets. With the assets’ identity, ownership, and history stored and managed on-chain, players will simply synchronize their blockchain addresses with each game, thereby enabling the games to see their asset inventory and provide access to the corresponding in-game items.
Kriptomat is currently running a giveaway where users can fulfill social sharing and marketing-related actions to earn some of these Kriptomat Multiverse items. Another cryptocurrency exchange, GDAC, also announced their adoption of the ERC-1155 token standard earlier this week. Like Kriptomat, GDAC will also introduce in-platform gamification, helping them build engagement while reaching new audiences.
The Kriptomat Multiverse, which includes games like AlterVerse, Age of Rust, War of Crypto, 9Lives Arena, CryptoFights, Forest Knight, Cats in Mechs, and Rebounce, is a subsection of a wider multiverse created by developers utilizing Enjin’s blockchain game development platform. As a whole, the Enjin Multiverse now includes blockchain assets that are being integrated into over 35 games and platforms.
The Enjin Platform has already been extremely successful in attracting talented developers to the Ethereum blockchain, which is widely considered the most secure and decentralized blockchain in the world. To date, 17 developers have announced their adoption of Enjin’s tools and are integrating Ethereum-based ERC-1155 tokens into over 40 games, apps, and websites.
Developers seeking to gain a competitive edge will soon be able to use Enjin’s Blockchain Software Development Kit (SDK) on Unity, the world’s largest game development platform. Upon its public release, Unity will list the Blockchain SDK on the front page of its Asset Store, enabling 4.5 million game developers to mint ERC-1155 tokens and manage complex gameplay mechanics through transactions on the Ethereum blockchain.
