Ether Kingdoms introducing the new game mode titled Far Realm, You could’ve heard about it under the working title “Exploring Area”.
The first and most important thing about this mode is that it will become the main platform for all future Ether Kingdoms PvP and PvE content. Players can control squads that are formed from a limited number of Imps. The key to success in this mode is to manage your available resources reasonably. One more feature that differentiates it from the traditional PvP mode is that each player can send different number of Imps to fight. This, in turn, will directly influence battle stats. Implement a full-fledged strategic map, with your squad’s location on it playing a significant part in further game development. In the first version, players can use only one squad of Imps to capture and protect a number of objects on the map. These objects provide different bonuses — there’s no doubt that objects with mining bonuses will be most popular among players.
Game Instructions


The Portal You can transfer some of your free IMPs to the separate pool via the Portal. This pool is displayed on the new game mode screen. Mind the cooldown period after the IMPs have been transferred — you have to wait before you can transfer the next batch for free. In order to transfer IMPSs without the cooldown you must recharge the Portal by spending some tokens. In the left part of the HUD you can find a new portal button — by clicking it you can switch to the interface of the new game mode. The number of IMPs sent to the Far Realm is displayed at the same place where your free IMPs are usually displayed. You can return IMPs from the Far Realm at any time by clicking on the “” button.
The Squad
You will use the squad for all your fights in this mode. To create the squad you may click on any tile with the “SYMBOL” symbol and then choose the amount of IMPs (from the IMPs transferred via the Portal) to be in the squad. In this case the squad will be formed in the tile that you clicked on. The other way to create the squad is to push the “Create Squad” button in the lower part of the screen. In this case the squad will be created in the default tile.

After the squad is created you can see its status in the lower part of the screen:
Here you can see current IMP amount and stamina. Stamina is reduced when you move from tile to tile. It replenishes automatically over time according to this formula “n stamina for x minutes”.
The “Reinforce” button allows you to add more IMPs to the squad from the Far Realm`s pool, but you can “reinforce” the squad only if it stands on the deployment tile. The “Disband” button breaks the squad immediately and all IMPs return to the FR pool.
Movement and Fight
Click on the squad to take control. If the squad is highlighted yellow then it is selected.
After the squad is selected you can click on any tile and the squad will either move directly to the tile or will move towards the target the distance allowed by the remaining stamina, if it’s not enough to reach the destination in one go. When you click on the building owned by the other player, the game will ask you to confirm the attack. After this, the squad will move to the closest tile and start the fight. If no squad is selected, then you can see the information about the building by clicking on it.

The fight shares the same principle as the fight in common mode, but here your fighter gets characteristics bonuses provided by the buildings you own, while the amount of damage and health of the Imps is modified depending on the difference in the number of Imps of both opposing players. Thus, if the number of Imps is equal for both sides, then their health and damage will have standard values. If the number is different, then these characteristics will be reduced for the player with less Imps and increased for the player with more Imps. Item bonuses are applied in accordance to common rules, except the rechargeable items with ignoring properties — these will start working on the FR later.
If the building belongs to you, then you can leave Imps to defend the building—other players will have to defeat them to capture the building. In order to do so you must select the squad standing on the tile near the building, click on this building and choose the number of Imps that you want to move to the garrison.

Detailed Fight Rules
Far Realm has the following universal PvP rules:
Attacking squad pays commission equal to 2% of the IMP amount in it. Besides, if the attacking squad fails, the defending party captures 2% of the attacking IMPs (minimum 1 IMP).
The defending party (garrison) loses 1 IMP during any attack. In case of defeat, the defending party loses 10% of the garrisoned IMPs, from which 50% (half) is taken by the attacking party. The rest of the IMPs are transferred to Exploring Pool, thus freeing the garrison and giving the ownership to the attacker.
Ignoring/immune items are not working.
In case of a Draw (both Imps have 0 HP in the last round) the attacker wins.
Imps’ basic HP and damage are modified depending on the difference in the amount of IMPs of the fighting squads.

During the fight, basic HP and damage of the IMP from the squad with the amount “y” are reduced by a% with value limit a. lim_a = 25
Basic HP and damage if the IMP from the squad with the amount “x” are increased by b% with value limit b. lim_b = 50
Lim_a; Lim_b; k – are set in the config.
If there is less than 50 IMPs after the fight, then they are returned to the Exploring Pool and the squad is disbanded.
After the fight only the attacker receives experience according to this formula:
XP = amount_IMPs\(10\(comission%*100)).
