To show the interoperability of decentralized games assets, a partnership between CryptoKitties and MegaCryptoPolis was announced.

With all milestones described in the original White Book being successfully accomplished, a major update for the MegaCryptoPolis decentralized city builder game is planned to be implemented this year.

“MegaCryptoPlois 3D” will bring, besides significant visual improvements, a whole new class of collectible game assets (like Citizens, Pets, Resources, etc.) for a deeper and evolving gameplay built on top of current layer (representing Land plots and District tokens). With the help of Citizens, buildings will be able to produce new “Microeconomy” assets in the form of ERC-721 tokens those can be traded on the open market.

Pets may have a serious impact on how a Citizen will perform on a daily basis. Better Citizen’s qualifications will make better results for building operation — that may lead to a bigger amount of Resources, better Appliances or appreciable increase in salary.

Pets can be paired up with Citizens to boost their qualifications, that means Citizens will be more effective based on the combined Citizen qualification and Pet power.

Nevertheless, it was the CryptoKitties to introduce original fluffy pets on the blockchain. That said, the idea of partnership is to bring CryptoKitties into MegaCryptoPolis 3D Macroeconomy by converting Kitties into MegaCryptoPolis Pets.

No worries about original CK, they will stay in your wallet, with a matching copy of a token for the MegaCryptoPolis 3D game.

MegaCryptoPolis Kitty pets will inherit at least 2 traits of the original Kitty (base color and eyes color), those define the MCP Kitty Pet appearance.

Most importantly, a qualification that MCP Kitty Pet boosts is identified by the CryptoKitty token genome with a power depending on CK Generation:

• Gen 0: +5 Power

• Gen 1: +4 Power

• Gen 2–3: +3 Power

• Gen 4–6: +2 Power

• Gen 7+: +1 Power

In order to bring the CryptoKittie into MegaCryptoPolis a special Kitty Pack purchase is required, that will be available from 20 May 1 PM UTC.

For a limited period of time, an exclusive MCP RoboKitty Pet can be created while brining the Prestige Kitty to the MegaCryptoPolis.

Making a copy of any CK with the “uplink” trait grants an unique appearance of the MCP Pet and adds a Resource Pack as a bonus.
